Rafting

Rafting is a way to discover beautiful landscapes, away from roads and footpaths.
In Peru and Bolivia, the landscapes traversed by following rivers are pristine. Rafting is an activity for everyone, ideal for enjoying nature in a safe, sportsmanlike and in good spirits.

Below are some examples of rafting trips that I offer. Many others are possible.

Rafting Urubamba River (Peru)

An original way to discover the Sacred Valley is doing rafting. 1 or 2 days you can get off the Urubamba River that lies at the heart of the Sacred Valley. This beautiful scenery in this valley is so special and full of energy. There are several sections to cover: Calca – and Huambutio Urubamba – Pisac (grades II and III) Ollantaytambo (degrees III y IV)

Rafting on the Coroico River (Bolivia)

Rafting Coroico River. Discovery of the tropical environment on a beautiful river, collected in the foothills of the Andes. The waterfalls surrounding cliffs amidst the lush vegetation. The river is safe. A classic not to be missed!

Rio Colca (Peru)

The Colca is famous for its 300 rapids and for the second deepest canyon in the world. The world’s most famous road from the town of Chivay and enters the area Cabanaconde and Tapay along approximately 40 km. It has rapids of class II to IV for specialist and connoisseur.

River rafting Cotahuasi / (Peru)

Cotahuasi Canyon is located north of “Arequipa. This is the deepest canyon in the world, twice the Grand Canyon in Arizona. This canyon served as a link between the capital of the Inca empire (Cuzco) and sea Throughout this canyon we can surely find many Inca ruins that were probably resting places and food supply. (Up to 6 days of crossing)

Rafting Tambopata River – Jungle (Peru)

Here we have six days of rafting on the Tambopata River in the rapids of Class III and IV. Tambopata River was ranked as the best river rafting in Peru for its isolation in the heart of the jungle, rich flora and fauna, technical rapids. From the mountains of the Cordillera of 4,500 meters in the Amazonian forest (250 meters), enjoy many animals. (Up to 6 days of crossing)

Envisage :

Mayo and Huallaga rivers (Peru)

Pathways by these two rivers from Tarapoto and down by the high forest, crossing beautiful Amazon landscapes. The rapids are Class II and III. Minimum time: 2 days.

Canyon of the Apurimac (Peru)

This is included in the boating world circuit for its great depth of its rapid degrees II, III and IV. The route starts about 700 m of the Cúnyac Bridge near Mollepata (Anta), down by incredible landscapes and canyons more than 3,000 meters deep, and ends at the thermal station of Cconoc at Curahuasi (Apurimac). It is up to the mountains of Salkantay, one of the most beautiful in the world. Minimum time: 3 days
